UIA Architecture And Children Golden Cubes Awards 2014 in the category Institutions最優秀賞受賞のお知らせ

JIAゴールデンキューブ賞を受賞した学校部門、組織部門、出版部門、視聴覚作品部門の各優秀賞4作品が、日本からのノミネート作品としてUIA（世界建築家連盟）Architecture And Children Golden Cubes Awards 2014の国際審査に推薦されていましたが、ネットワーク仙台の「子どもたちが応援する歴史的建造物の震災復興～地域・小学校等との協働プロジェクト～」（“Children cheer Sendai’s earthquake recovery”）が、18カ国46作品の中から見事、組織部門の最優秀賞に選ばれました。授賞式は、2014年8月6日、南アフリカのダーバンにて開催されるUIA2014ダーバン大会（8月3日～7日）にて行われます。この授賞式に先立ち、8月5日には渋谷セツコ代表の発表も予定されています。

受賞作品は下記の通りです。

Schools category:

Project N°14. Centro Educativo Rural Champitas - Chigorodo - Antiquia for “La Casa”. Colombia

Jury’s evaluation: “It’s a rural community project, close to the people, sensitive to social and environmental concerns and makes optimum use of local resources and materials.”

Institutions category:

Project N°36. Architecture and children Network of Sendaï for “Children cheer Sendai’s earthquake recovery”. Japan

Jury’s evaluation: “The project involves children in real life restoration projects in areas stricken by natural disasters.”

Written Media category:

Project N°21. Cinqpoints - Laurence Calafat for “Iconic architecture card game”. France

Jury’s evaluation: “Simple, aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly card games, a playful way to communicate architecture to family and friends.”

Audio-visual media category:

Project N°24. The Swedish Centre for architecture for the project «Home”. Sweden

Jury’s evaluation: “Space and movement in an original vision of architecture through a fusion of many arts”.

特別賞に下記の2作品が選ばれました。

Institutions Category:

Project N°9. Children Architectural workshop from Sofia for “Architecture & children”. Bulgaria

Jury’s evaluation: “It is an interdisciplinary project which is conducted by a non-profit organization and explores many aspects of architecture.”

Audio-visual media category:

Project N°8. Library of cinematography named after Sergei Eisenstein for “Piet Mondrian’s city”. Russia

Jury’s evaluation: “The project links architecture with art in a particularly innovative way.
